Cindy Nguyen, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapist

About Cindy

Hi, I'm Cindy Nguyen, LMFT!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Everyone deserves a space where they can show up authentically, explore their experiences without judgment, and feel understood.

For over ten years, I've had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a warm, compassionate environment where you can feel safe enough to be yourself.

My role is not to tell you what to do or offer quick fixes. Instead, I work alongside you to better understand the patterns, experiences, and challenges shaping your life while helping you develop meaningful coping strategies, deeper self-awareness, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Together, we can create lasting change that feels authentic, sustainable, and aligned with the life and relationships you want to build.

My approach

Warm, collaborative, and thoughtfully personalized

I describe my style as compassionate and collaborative. Therapy with me is a partnership—we work together to improve communication, strengthen self-awareness, manage stress, learn how to advocate for yourself, build self-esteem, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I draw from evidence-based approaches and adapt them to support your unique circumstances, helping therapy feel both meaningful and relevant to your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect—and learn effective coping strategies to shift unhelpful patterns and support lasting change.

Mindfulness-Based

Build awareness and grounding tools that help you respond to stress instead of reacting to it.

Compassion & Strength-Based

We start from what's already strong in you, with self-compassion rather than self-criticism.

Family & Marital Therapy

For couples and families, we explore the patterns between people—not just within them—to strengthen connection, communication, and understanding.
