Responsible AI

Responsible AI Statement

Therapy here is a human relationship. Care is provided by a licensed clinician — not by artificial intelligence.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming part of many healthcare and mental-health tools. Because the trust you place in a therapist is deeply personal, I want to be clear and transparent about how AI is — and is not — used in this practice.

Care is delivered by a human

All therapy, clinical judgment, and treatment decisions are made by Cindy Nguyen, LMFT, a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. No AI system provides therapy, makes a diagnosis, or makes decisions about your care. The relationship, the listening, and the clinical work are entirely human.

No automated decisions about you

No automated or AI system is used to accept or decline you as a client, to evaluate you, or to make any decision that affects your treatment. Any decision that touches your care is made by a licensed human.

Your privacy on this website

This website does not use AI to analyze or profile the information you submit. When you send a message through the contact form, it goes to a human to read and respond to. Your information is not fed into AI tools or used to train AI systems. For more detail on how information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.

Transparency if anything changes

If this practice ever adopts an AI-assisted tool — for example, for routine administrative tasks like scheduling — this page will be updated to explain plainly what the tool does, what data it touches, and the safeguards in place. You will always be able to reach a human, and your privacy will remain protected.
